Andrew King is acknowledged as a leading interpreter of Renaissance and Baroque music and is much in demand as an Oratorio Singer, particularly as Evangelist in the Bach Passions. His love of chamber music is exemplified by his work with the Consort of Musicke, New London Consort, Musicians of the Globe, Pro Cantione Antiqua, and The Renaissance Ensemble (which he also directs). On the operatic stage, he has performed in many masques and semi-operas as well as performances of early operas by Caccini, Monteverdi and Peri.

Aspects of Love: a recital highlighting the diversity of life in 17th century England, from the public pedlar in the street to the private penitent in the chapel (with David Miller lute, theorbo).
Education:
Masterclasses in baroque and renaissance repertoires. Andrew has taught in summer schools including Dartington and West Dean and also in Israel, Italy, Poland and Sweden. He teaches the Historical Vocal Programme at Birmingham Conservatoire.
