Matthew Halls director/organ/harpsichord
Matthew Halls is Associate Director of The King’s Consort and a regular guest conductor with many leading baroque orchestras. He has conducted English Touring Opera, New Chamber Opera and at the Amsterdam Bach Festival. This season he makes his debut with the RTE Orchestra, Dublin, and London Mozart Players. He has been assistant to William Christie and has worked at the Bayerische Staatsoper, Komische Opera and Netherlands Opera. He has recorded organ concertos by Handel on the Avie label and this year he will record the keyboard concertos of Bach, with performances at Wigmore Hall with Sonnerie and in Canada with Les Violons du Roy.
