Red Priest continues to enjoy fantastic reviews and responses from both the press and audiences throughout the world and receives frequent invitations for return visits.  Following its TV profile on the South Bank Show in April 2005, which was viewed by almost a million people, the group has been selling out regularly in venues throughout the UK. Red Priest has recently returned from its 20th tour of the US in six years and has enjoyed a busy year of traveling with visits to Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Norway, Israel, Turkey, Austria, Russia, Mexico, Bermuda and Japan.    The group’s success stems from its unique blend of scholarship, creativity and swashbuckling virtuosity, theatrically presented through colourful programmes such as Carnival of the Seasons, Nightmare in Venice, Pirates of the Baroque and their latest programme Johann, I’m Only Dancing! featuring the music of Bach.

Johann, I’m Only Dancing!: Taking its title from a 1970s David Bowie hit, this programme presents the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, bringing out the dance element that flows through so much of his music - featuring selections from the Organ works (including the great Toccata and Fugue in D minor BWV 565), Keyboard Toccatas, English Suites, Violin Concerti, Orchestral Suites and Flute Sonatas.
