For centuries, the Rose has exemplified the feminine blend of delicacy and passion. Rosa Mundi is rightly named. Formed to explore the fascinating bridge between musics of the Renaissance and Baroque, Rosa Mundi’s historically informed performances breathe life into the most courtly music of the 17th century. The versatility and agility of Sophia Brumfitt’s voice blends with Rosemary Hodgson’s sensitive playing, bringing colour, warmth and vitality to this intimate and complex repertoire. Rosa Mundi have performed throughout the UK, in London, Norfolk, Wiltshire, Devon and Wales, and toured in Australia - through Victoria and New South Wales.
