Marius Carboni director Chamber Choir of mixed voices with no vibrato
A chamber choir 25 singers of ten years standing with little or no vibrato. They have sung in 25 Cathedrals and Abbeys around the UK, from Canterbury to York; from Wells to Durham; from Rochester to St Paul’s Cathedral; from Westminster Abbey to Gloucester.
The Plaxtol Scholars also give concerts with their sister ensemble, the Plaxtol Chamber Players.
Programme:
A range of music - madrigals and folk songs to sacred music from the 16th century through to the 21st century.
Recordings:
Recording due out in January 2008.
