We are an early music group specialising in Elizabethan music. Our particular focus is on less well-known works, together with presenting old favourites in a new light, hence the name. We are all versatile and experienced musicians who can tailor programme content to individual needs, ages and themes. Many of our performances are connected to historic venues.
Sample Programme:
Tregian’s Underground: based around both Catholic and Protestant composers working under monarchs whose religious settlements marginalised them within their society.

Recordings:
Paston Present (Meden Recordings) based around the Paston Lute Books and featuring the music of Philip van Wilder.
