Trouvère recreate the music of the middle ages, with a special interest in the repertoire of the 12th and 13th centuries. The group offers a stimulating variety of sounds, from the gentle flute and harp through to multiple bagpipes. Trouvère evoke the sights and sounds of the middle ages the group usually perform in authentic period costume and regularly feature lively storytelling as part of the performance making for an accessible and atmospheric event.

Por mon corage: Songs and music of the trouvères, ranging from grand chants to pastourelles to estampies a taste of the high life in 13th century France.
Education:
Workshops on Tudor music and dance for key stage two classes. Children can have a go on a great range of instruments and learn dances from court and country. Costume workshops also available.
